A wedding reception with views over the River Thames is something neither you, nor your guests will ever forget. At The Royal Horseguards, we can offer you a wide selection of air-conditioned suites and event rooms, all with magnificent views over the River Thames and the London Eye.
To give your reception its due sense of opulence and grandeur, we have a choice of elegant rooms, from the intimate River Room seating just 70 people, to the spectacular Gladstone Library, which has space for 350 guests to mingle in comfort. And if you're planning a summer wedding, our Terrace, overlooking Whitehall Gardens, is as romantic and atmospheric a setting as you could wish for.

Licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships, 86 can be hired exclusively depending on availability. We offer complete wedding management from the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and your evening party. Both our wedding reception rooms have a historic feel to them that add to the atmosphere of your wedding day.

The Carlton Club
The Carlton Club was founded in 1832 and is located in the exclusive St James's area of London, the perfect location for a visitor to London, within easy walking distance of Buckingham Palace, West End theatres, Soho with its many restaurants and cafés and two of London's most extensive green spaces, Green Park and St James's Park. Those travelling from Heathrow Airport can do so by taking the Piccadilly Line to Green Park, only a few minutes' walk from the Club.
